Six Thousand Reasons to Paint Your Front Door

Do you want a good reason to paint your front door? How about 6,000 of them!

A 2021 survey conducted by Zillow says that homes with certain door colors could fetch thousands of dollars more just based on the door color alone.  The survey found that certain door colors affected buyer's perception of house value and how much they would be willing to pay.  Slate blue doors were rated the most appealing with buyers saying they were willing to pay over $1,500 more, and black doors, though loved by some and not by others, had fans of the color willing to pay over $6,000 more.

Talk about coloring one's perception!
